Manage Account

Access your account settings by clicking your avatar or username in the sidebar. The account page lets you update your profile information, change your credentials, and manage your account.

Profile Tab

Display name

Your display name is visible to other users -- for example, when you share a dive plan. To change it, edit the name field and save your changes.

Email

You can update your email address at any time. After entering a new email, DiveToolbox sends a verification code to the new address. Enter the code to confirm the change. Your old email remains active until the new one is verified.

Password

To change your password, you must first enter your current password for security. Then choose a new password (at least 8 characters) and confirm it.

Avatar

Upload a profile picture by clicking on your avatar. An interactive crop modal opens where you can:

  • Drag the image to reposition it
  • Zoom in or out to frame your photo
  • Preview the result before saving

Delete account

At the bottom of the account page, you can permanently delete your account. This action:

  • Removes all your saved dive plans, tank configurations, and personal data
  • Cancels any active subscription
  • Invalidates any team access codes you have granted

To confirm deletion, you must type a confirmation text exactly as shown. This prevents accidental deletions.

caution

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you have exported any data you want to keep before proceeding.
